Newsletter October 12th, 2008

Hey there all. We'd like to welcome home Steve Whiddon and Tony Anderson back from Africa. They had an amazing week and have some great stories to tell. We can't wait to hear all about your trip!
Currently 3 of our ladies from class (Sharee Sanders, Denise Jessen, and Audra Willimas) are in the Dominion Republic giving some humanitarian aid and Christian love to the people of the region. Please keep them in your prayers!

Cy Heath's father, Red, is struggling with Alzhemiers & Dementia. The family is working to find him a care facility. Please keep the family in your prayers

Welcome the new little one to our class....Courtney and Kevin Chadwick have a new baby girl. Mommy and baby are home and happy!

CLASS EVENTS
1. Mens Breakfast/Bible Study
Date: Thursday, Oct 16th
Time: 7:00am
Location: IHOP in Allen off 75 just north of McDermott
Details: A mid week casual breakfast/study led by John Payne. The men really enjoy this chance to fellowship and study with others from the class. Currently they are walking through Samuel 4-6. This study will run every other week throughout the school year.
2. November Ladies Night
Date: Nov 13th
Time: 7pm
Location: Lisa Fowlers House
Details: Everyone will bring a dish and will email the recipes to Lisa prior to the event. She will compile all the recipes to share. More details to come!
