Good Evening ya'll! Our class sure had a great turn out today and we are just blessed to have so many visitors with us. I want to make sure we all keep Craig Shaver in your prayers this week as he has been struggling with health issues and most recently had to deal with Bronchitis last weekend while 2 of his children were sick and Melissa was out of town. Our prayers are with you Craig!
I'd also like each of us to pray for 2 of our own who are heading off to Africa this week to spread God's love to the nations! Steve Whiddon & Tony Anderson will be heading across the world to work in the lives of those in need. Please pray for open hearts of those they will be reaching, for safe travel, and for their families staying back here in Dallas.
We have 2 events planned for this week; the Men have their Thursday Morning Fellowship at IHOP in Allen, and the Ladies are meeting this coming Saturday for a day of shopping on the Downtown McKinney Square...see details below for both events
CHURCH NEWS
As most of you already know, Stacy Warren, Jeff Warren's wife, was recently diagnosed with Breast cancer. Meals are requested for the Warrens on Mon, Thur and Sat nights. Meals to be dropped off at the church at 5pm those days. There are STILL DATES IN OCT AND NOV that have not been signed up for!!! 1. Ladies Shopping Day on the Square

12:00 we will meet at The Pantry for lunch
Location: Downtown McKinney Square
Details: We'll be meeting at a coffee shop the will all head out to shop, ending at the Pantry for lunch. 2. Mens Breakfast/Bible Study
Date: Thursday, Oct 2nd
Time: 7:00am
Location: IHOP in Allen off 75 just north of McDermott
Details: A mid week casual breakfast/study led by John Payne. The men really enjoy this chance to fellowship and study with others from the class. Currently they are walking through Samuel 4-6. This study will run every other week throughout the school year.
