This MONDAY, Sept 15th, is the Men's Monday Night Football watching get together at Scotty P's on the northeast corner of Eldorado and 75.
The class Men's Breakfast/Bible Study is this week as well on Thursday Sept 18th at 7am.
We also have a Date Night Adult Fellowship planned for Sept 26th at Main Event in Plano.
CHURCH NEWS
As most of you know already know, Stacy Warren, Jeff Warren's wife, was recently diagnosed with Breast cancer. Meals are requested for the Warrens on Mon & Thur nights. Courageous Parenting will be held this Wednesday at 6:15 in the sanctuary
Great Adventure, First Bapist of McKinney's Men's group, will be meeting Wednesdays at 730 or Fridays at 6am.
The BFG (Bible Fellowship Group) office is looking for help on Sunday mornings to help organize information, attendance, etc. Please email Bryan Faus if you are available to serve. bryan.faus@fbcmckinney.com
The 2's, 3's, and 4's classes need Sunday morning helpers. Please see website if you are available. MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) will be starting up again this September. VISITORS
We'd like to welcome all the visitors we had this week. We usually meet over in the main building down from the gym, but due to the Red Cross station for the evacuees, we had class in the Annex today. It was great having ya'll!

PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISES
The Chadwicks will be having their little baby girl this THURSDAY.
Praise...Lee Ann Richardson's mother, Nancy, had surgery this past week. The expected 3 hour surgery only lasted 45 minutes and was extrememly successful. Praise the Lord!
Pray for Craig Shaver as he is still sick with an upper chest cold, fever, etc. and has been unable to get back to 100% since his Staph Infection.

Details: Bring your families and a picnic dinner to Aviator Park just north of Custer and Virginia Parkway (in the neighborhood across from Home Depot). More detailed directions to come. There is a little splash park there so bring suits and towels for the kids

Details: Scotty P's in McKinney 2950 Craig Dr. They have a back room with a huge wall TV.
(On the northwest corner of Eldorado & 75, tucked back behind Saltgrass on Craig street. Scotty P's is next to Old Navy)
3. Builders of Faith Date Night Fellowship
Date: Friday, Sept 26th
Time: 6p-9p
Details: We'll be going to Main Event in Plano off 75 just south of Spring Creek (Behind the Texas Land & Cattle Company). There is bowling, laser tag, video games, and a pizza parlor. Church will provide ChildCare. You will need to sign up online once the church posts the information. We will let you know when to sign up, so save the date! I looked online just now and they do not have a link up yet to sign up for registration.
4. Mens Breakfast/Bible Study
Date: Thursday, Sept 18th
Time: 7:00am
Location: IHOP in Allen off 75 just north of McDermott
Details: A mid week casual breakfast/study led by John Payne. The men really enjoy this chance to fellowship and study with others from the class. Currently they are walking through Samuel 1-3. This study will run every other week throughout the school year.

Our next Ladies night will either be in early-mid October. More details to come!
